Ice fishing trips today are much more comfortable than ever before. With Mobile Shelters and portable heat it’s easy to stay out of the elements yet mobile.

Mobility is key to success on the ice. It’s only one little hole in the ice so if the fish aren’t where you’re fishing that moving to the fish is essential.

Ice Fishing for Perch is a bit more forgiving that targeting Panfish.Many times to located and stay on the fish staying outside the shanty  is you’re best bet. It really depends on the lake and the number of fish in the area.

We use Frabill Pull over style shanties with plenty of heat so it’s easy to stay mobile to get on the best fishing for any given day.

We use Vexliar Sonar Units to find and target fish. We use snowmobiles Ice permitting for making large moves if needed.

Most importantly we know how to put ice fishing programs together to fit the bite where ever we are. Even though the Muskegon Lake System has plenty of Perch even these little fish can be picky from one day to the next.We know what it takes to get the best bite out of any given day.
