TRY FISHING LIGHT TACKLE
Light tackle is a great way to fish for anything. Using a fly fishing blank tied up as a spinning rod is the perfect partner for light line. There’s added action and the characteristics of a fly fishing blank supports light line very well. The energy of fish pulling on the line is absorbed by the length of the rod. Not only are you able fit an adequate amount of fishing line on a smaller fishing reels but the line stays on the reel and comes off at an appropriate rate. A smaller diameter fishing line offers less resistance as it travels through the guides on the fishing pole and as it travels through the water. With less resistance a very small presentation can be used such as a 1/64 ounce jig or a hook and a very small split shot. The small presentation is now able to pull the line through the guides because of the minimal resistance .Now your in business. Being able to cast a very light presentation that will have a workable drop rate to the bottom is what it’s all about. With the minimal resistance offered by the light fishing line and the fishing tackle to complement it a fisherman can experience the excitement. When fishing with a light and well balance fishing presentation from the fishing poll to the fishing bait. A fisherman can feel everything the fish is doing as the fish begins to bite. Fishing light tackle allows fisherman to enjoy every bit of what the fish have to offer.
